NEPETA (Catmint), zones 3-8, herb with grayish fragrant foliage and lavender-blue flowers in early summer, shear back after flowering and they will reblooms in the fall.

faassenii, ‘Blue Wonder’, 15-18”.  Large foliage, lots of lavender-blue flowers all summer.

 ‘Dropmore’, 12-15”, deep lavender flowers.

 ‘Kit Kat’, dark purple-blue flowers June-Sept.  12-15” tall.

Nepeta 'Little Titch'

 ‘Little Titch’, only 10” tall!!  Violet-blue flowers May-July.

‘Walker’s Low’, 24-36”,  Deep lavender flowers June-Aug.

 nervosa, dense, light blue, 4 ½” long spikes July-Sept.  16”x 24”.

x. ‘Sweet Dreams’, 20-24”.  Green foliage.  Pale rose-purple blooms with burgundy bracts.

x. ‘Joanna Reed’, cross is N. siberica and N. faassenii.  The flowers are a darker violet than other Nepetas.  3’ tall.

x. J ‘Little Trudy’, serrated silvery foliage.  Lavender blooms most of the summer.  10”x 16”.  Very drought tolerant.

 

NIPPONANTHEMUM nipponicum (Montauk Daisy), 3-4’ bushes!!  White daisies are amazingly “fresh” (fresh as a daisy! J)  As the rest of the garden goes to sleep in late autumn, this daisy begins its bloom period Sept-Oct.
