MARSHALLIA grandiflora (Barbara’s Buttons), A rare native.  Neat basal rosettes have 7” leaves.  Single 1 ¼” pink daisy heads.  Sun-part shade.  Damp soil.

MUKDENIA rossii, 'Karasuba', native to the mountains of China.  Medium green palmate foliage that has a bronze red cast in summer, changing to rich shades of red late summer in to autumn.  Panicles of white bell flowers bloom on 16" leafless stems in early spring.  Grows 12" tall.  Great groundcover for shady, woodland areas!
