Yay Yay Yay 1 day closer to spring! We are still scrambling here at HG, our first plants are scheduled to arrive in just 3 weeks- sweet little perennial plugs, trucks from Oregon with Japanese Maples.....now if the snow would go ahead and get out of the way! It is making me nervous for losing precious prep time before the chaos ensues! Yay yay yay Chaos! Speaking of chaos, we have ventured further in today's world, find us on Facebook, become a fan: Highland Gardens_ Camp Hill. We believe this will suit us well for sending little tips and hints out in to the world on a timely basis. We are also "tweeting" hmmmmm tweet, tweet what's our Twitter address?? I guess that makes me a "bird brain"! My newly discovered garden friend, Laura Matthews, got us to both places and is being our post-er. Find her way-too-cool blog's link on our front page, "Punk Rock Gardens". She is all over it and a real groovy chick too. I am honored to have her as one of our "team" here at HG....her holding up the Cyber Team part.....she knows how we tweet and how to get there. Hopefully we will soon have links posted here on our web site for both FB and Twitter soon so you can follow us! Ed, our computer geek, is working hard on getting our web site all caught up so we can concentrate our efforts on Plant Geeking. Which we do best of all. I am still adding photos in, please forgive that they can't go "thumbnail' to full size yet. I am working on it. Hopefully we will have that all straightened out soon.

The bright pink flowers of my hardy Cyclamen have appeared as the snow has melted down. Next to them is my black flowering Hellebore. Right by the front door, unpassable without a squeal of delight! The snow is melting back off my Heath plants, which have been flowering since December, but I am very worried for how many branches will be broken due to the weight of the snow. Lot of trimming going to be going on in the garden this spring. Yay for going out in the garden, yay for trimming, yay for thoughts of Spring......

Happy Sunshiney day! ~Erica
