I am a horticulturist, not a computer geek |

So I spent most of the day trying to figure out how to insert pictures next to our listings so you all can really get frothing at the mouth! Our web designer and favorite computer geek, Ed came to the rescue tonight and has taught me how to do it. (Check out my very first entry, Taxodium 'Peve Minaret') I will have tons of pictures to put up.....but as always, the worst thing about gardening is patience, but one of the best things is the prize of what you dreamed in your head coming to fruition. So I am doing the thumbnails, but don't yet have the ability (skill) to have the thumbnail picture programmed so you can click it and blow it up to full size. Patience, my precious gardeners (and me!!) Ed assured me I have to start at the basic knowledge stuff and work up. Hmmm sounds a bit like gardening and all other things we learn from the ground up- the first step is "you know nothing". I think I am about a grasshopper length from that spot. Egads- lots to go. Spring is coming fast...ticktock.....ticktock......will load as many as I can and then resume in summer....In other worlds, Monica has been busy updating the perennial lists, thought we had encountered another glitch, our "H" section stopped saving her changes. After talking to Ed, I have discovered that it stopped saving because the file is too small to hold all the "H"s. Oh my what a Hosta collection we are going to have this year! I knew it was big, but wow-wee! Too big for the file to hold?! I need to stop spazzing out and get a hold of myself when I do our plant orders. Nah, I think I will keep "plant geeking" out and continue to order with wild abandon. Yep. Closer and closer to spring my dears, hold on!! Happy Wonderful Snow-Sparkley Day! Erica
